Our history
The history of the site and the surrounding area tell a fascinating tale of the city’s past.
The Municipality of Haarlem and the Province of Noord-Holland want to ensure that the station district remains an efficiently functioning bus and railway station, and of course a pleasant place and showpiece for the city. That is why a future vision for the station area was drawn up. It forms the compass for the step-by-step development up to 2040.
