BERESTEYN HAARLEM
In December 2020, Vastint Netherlands became the owner of the Beresteyn building complex, located at the Stationsplein in Haarlem. Vastint Netherlands intends to redevelop the entire area, whereby the existing multifunctional complex of 36,400 m2 in total will undergo a complete transformation.
Beresteyn is located in a beautiful central location in the heart of Haarlem, directly opposite Haarlem Station. A vibrant location with excellent accessibility. The complex consists of apartments, retail, office space, catering, a parking garage, and the Beijneshal sports hall.
Vastint is currently conducting exploratory discussions with the Municipality of Haarlem to investigate whether a thorough redevelopment into modern, mixed-use residential-work buildings with numerous additional facilities adjacent to a representative new city square.

INTEGRATED AREA VISION
Haarlem’s station district is to undergo a transformation. The entire area will be radically reshaped, and for the Municipality of Haarlem this meant that an area vision had to be developed. This vision forms the compass for the step-by-step development of the district and brings together all aspects of the city.
